New horse this week. KP, he's a 12yr old hunter, much bigger, faster and fitter than good old Bella who I have got used to. Fortunately I have a really good instructor and Clare has given me the confidence to keep progressing. It's amazing that how a really great coach can make all the difference.
Clare has a great way of prioritising the right things at the right time which is something I reference in my talks in how to achieve success. However, I realise I do say at the end of the video that it was "information overload" - thinking about it there were only 1 or 2 new techniques for me to think about. Having the ability to step back and process what to take way is also something we all forget to do when learning something new.
